Hello Everyone

     The birth of this directory took place in March, 2009, at the Mind-Body Healing Community meeting (now the Memphis Healing Dialogue Meeting) at Madge Bares' home. It was fairly remarkable to be with all the wonderful folks gathered there to learn from each other about various healing modalities. We talked about ways that we could accelerate the visibility of Memphis Healers.

     At first we thought we would add a section to an existing website. But as time moved forward, we decided to purchase a URL and get Luke Kende of Kende Consulting to set up the web site. On July 20th, Madge and I met with him to finalize everything, and thus was born memphishealers.org.

     This site has the potential to enhance your practice in a lot of ways. Not only can you have up to five listings in five different categories, you are encouraged to submit articles about your modalities to Madge Bares ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.       This site can only work if we all take time to add information to it. Please call Madge, 901-921-2059, if you have ideas or content for it. Let's use our imaginations to showcase to Memphis the wonderful practitioners and modalities that are available for their wellbeing!
